Repellant Spores: When this creature starts its turn or takes any slashing damage, any creatures within 5 feet of the Spore Spawner must make a DC 13 CON save or take 1d8 Necrotic Damage and become poisoned for the next minute.   Detritivore: As a bonus action, the Spore Spawner Fungus can target one Small or larger corpse or swarm of corpses not under the effects of gentle repose or one small or larger creature that has 0 hit points and is still alive within 15 ft of it. If the target is alive, it must succeed a DC 12 CON saving throw or automatically fail one saving throw. On a failure, or if the target is a corpse, the Spore Spawner Fungus also gains 2d6 hit points. Once a corpse has been targeted by this feature, it becomes desiccated and can't be targeted again. A corpse or swarm of corpses that were killed with a damage type they are vulnerable to cannot be targeted by this ability. This ability can be used when the creature is at 0 hit points.

Swarm Spawn (Recharges on a 5-6): The fungus spawns a Swarm of Pufflings in the nearest unoccupied space to it.

Reactions

Abandon the Nest!: When the Swarm Spawner reaches half its maximum hit points and there are 2 or less swarms of pufflings on the battlefield, the fungus can spawn another swarm if it takes damage it's not vulnerable to.
