Multiattack. The Scion makes three attacks: one with it's bite, one with it's Spiked Shield, and one with it's Longsword. Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 Slashing Damage, or 8 Slashing damage if used with two hands (cannot be wearing a Shield). Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 Piercing Damage and 5 Poison Damage. Spiked Shield. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 Piercing Damage. Poison Breath (Recharge 5-6). The Scion exhales poisonous gas in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution Saving Throw, taking 21 Poison Damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
These warriors are often found in the marsh surrounding Herrekles' lair. They also act as the servants and guards of the Green Dragon himself. Some Lizardfolk with similar origins to these may lead hostile Lizardfolk tribes in other areas of the world.
