Sister Garaele is a young, scholarly elf with an effusive, bubbly demeanor that contrasts with the quiet solitude of her devotion. She has bright, inquisitive eyes and a quick, melodic voice, often speaking in excited bursts as if making up for lost conversation. Clad in modest blue-and-silver robes adorned with symbols of Tymora, she exudes an air of warmth and optimism, always eager to encourage others to take bold risks in the goddess’s name. Though dedicated to the Shrine of Luck, she is also a skilled healer and herbalist, brewing potions for those in need. Despite her faith in fortune, she sometimes places too much trust in luck over careful planning, believing wholeheartedly that Tymora’s favor will guide the righteous and the brave.

“I sometimes put too much faith in fate and not enough in planning.” Garaele trusts in Tymora’s will so much that she can sometimes be reckless or unprepared, assuming that luck will see her through.

Suggested Environments

Sister Garaele is usually found at the Shrine of Luck in Phandalin, or in her room closest to the shrine at the barber's shop (Sister Garaele's residence). When absent, she may be conducting exploratory research into Tymora and the arcane, or reporting to her superiors in the Harpers organization, of which she is an agent.

Fortune’s Grace: Once per long rest, she may grant 1 creature advantage on their next attack, saving throw, or ability check, representing Tymora’s favor.
Healing Touch: As an action, she can use her knowledge of medicine and divine prayer to restore 1d4 HP to a creature she touches. She can use this ability a number of times per day equal to her Wisdom modifier (3).
Channel Luck: Once per short rest, she may allow a creature to reroll a failed ability check, attack roll, or saving throw.
Tymora’s Favor: Sister Garaele can grant inspiration to up to 6 individuals per day, representing Tymora’s blessing. This inspiration must be used within 1 day and follows the standard Bardic Inspiration rules (a d6 added to an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw). She typically grants this before a dangerous journey or task requiring luck and skill.
