You touch a rope no longer than 60 feet. For the duration, it becomes animate. While holding this rope, as a bonus action you can order to either grapple a creature or affix itself to an object on one end. You use your spellcasting modifier instead of your Athletics to attempt the grapple, and you cannot target a creature that is further away than the length of the rope you used the spell on. You may use your action to pull a grappled creature or object toward you by 15 feet by contesting your spellcasting modifier against their (Strength) Athletics. The rope goes limp and releases anything it has grappled at the end of the spell’s duration.
