Overview & Creation
Golemancers manipulate the elements around them to create living constructs which are able to perform simple tasks and orders.

Starting Equipment
You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:
- (a) any simple weapon, or (b) a handcrossbow and 20 bolts
- Golemancer's Manual
- Light armor and a scholar's pack
Spellcasting
Through study and a bit of luck you have managed to decipher a few pages of a Golemancer's Manual, this has allowed you to make constructs which perfom menial tasks and follow basic commands. Despite this success you wish to unravel more of the mysteries of the ancient manual and create more powerful constructs.
Spell Casting Ability
Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for you golemancer spells. You use your Intelligence when a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition you use your Intelligence modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a golemancer spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
- Spell save DC = 8 = your proficiency bonus + your intelligence modifier
- Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your intelligence modifier
Ritual Casting
You can cast any golemancer spell you know as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag
Spellcasting Focus
You use your Golemancer's Manual to both make golems and as a spellcasitng focus for you golemancer spells.
Golemancer's Manual
As you level up you are able to translate more of the manual and are able to discover more of the spells and golems enhancements within it. You need to spend at least 8 hours and 10 GP to decipher one chapter of the Manual. The cost represents scrolls, ink and quills used to make notes you used to unravel the mystery. You may only research the next chapter after you have researched the chapter before it and also reached the level which equates to that chapter. (For an extra challenge you must also use the concept learned within the chapter to fully understand it before you are able to research the next chapter however this can be expensive due to materials for Golems)Cantrips
At 1st level you know two cantrips of your choice from the golemancer spell list. You learn additional golemancer cantrips of your choice at higher levels, as shown in the Cantrips Known column of the Golemancer table
Spell Slots
The Golemancer table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher> To cast one of these golemancer spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spells slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spells Fortify Golems and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast Fortify Golems using either slot.
Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher
You know two 2st-level spells of your choice from the Golemancer spell list. The Spells Known column of th Golemancer table shows when you learn more golemancer spells of your choice. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spells slots. For instance, when you reach 3rd-level in this class, you can learn one new spells of 1st or 2nd level
