There was a time, long ago, when the impiety of man had pervaded the whole earth which the god Adarr and the goddess Nitune had so generously granted. Humanity was destroying everything good on the earth's surface. The great forests were burned, more and more advanced weapons reduced everything they touched to ashes and there was no peace, only smoke and shouting and crying. Wars and catastrophes followed, but it was never enough for man. It was then that Adarr, the moon god, agreed with Nitune, the sea goddess, to put an end to the havoc they were witnessing. They combined their powers and the tide that rose under the full moon of that fateful night submerged almost everything, leaving only a few strips of land on the surface for the few who had survived. They bowed to the power of the gods and promised that they would never repeat past mistakes again. Adarr and Nitune blessed them and allowed humanity to prosper again.
