Today is the 21st day of the second month of the Seventh Age

Me and Nesso spoke about our existence as we we're resting and preparing Sannin.

What are we? Our race or are we just a  offshoot of Akkalan? Our people ruled these lands for centuries before we were destroyed. We're the last ones left now but we possess abilities that the Akkalans couldn't even dream off. We discovered by accident that if an Akkalan or one of their offspring speak our names that they will get cursed somehow. We never realized that our names are spells. My name Asja seems to heal others while Nesso will destroy one from the inside out, it'll mimic the way we were created.

Worms will make their bones hollow before moving to their flesh then their skin. How odd.

I'll transcribe some of my older rituals soon. We might be able to use them later, plus my offspring might be able to learn what i know however i don't know how that would work since well... I don't know how humankind "breed" Nesso has no idea either. We don't seem to have the same organs as them, this explains why we have no need for food. I just thought all of Humankind was actively pursuing sinful behavior but it turns out they actively need to eat, this place is strange.

The Empress of Akkala had a daughter today! I forgot to mention that. I'll write all about it in my actual journal instead of rambling here. Nesso is to be her aunt, whatever that is.

So this Ritual is the one that is attached to my name.

You'll need a ritual circle in a forested or snowy place made out of salt or mushrooms, the person to be healed sits in the circle while you do the ritual. You will wear a green robe or a clean white one, you'll need healing herbs and a torch. As the sun goes down you must walk or dance around the circle chanting the following (i shall also write the translation in case you're wondering)

Ásjá, angan, bjarga          (Protection, Joy, healing
ást standa ok fár hverfra    The love stands in the way and harm goes away
ásjá, anga næ næ næ        Protection, joy to attain attain attain
Ok þú e er truir truir truir    And you Believe Believe Believe)

After this short chant you will burn the herbs in the torch and swing it over the one in the circle 3 times.

This will protect the person from curses and magical harm for the next week it will also bring love and joy to the person.

If you manage to mess up the ritual it shall have the opposite effect

This is the ritual associated with Nesso.

For this you will need a ritual circle made out of the entrails of a plagued animal or human, a bow and a single arrow. It is a very simple ritual but a very powerful and dangerous one.

To preform the ritual you shall walk around the circle and chant the following 6-10 times.

Gang ût, nesso, mid nigun nessiklînon,  (Go out, worm, with your nine little ones
ût fana themo margÄ™ an that bên,            Out from the marrow to the bone
fan themo bêne an that flêsg,                   From bone to the flesh
ût fan themo flêsgke an thia hûd,             Out from flesh to skin
ût fan thera hud an thesa strâla.               Out from skin to this arrow
Drohtin, uuerthe sô!                                   Lord, make it so!

This ritual is to be used if a village is plagued with a disease hence why you need the plagued animal or human. As you chant you should see worms crawl out of the entrails and which each "command" in the chant they should follow it. Your ritual is finished after no more worms come out of the entrails. These worms are the reason why many villages suffer and spread disease once they are on your arrow (Do not fear the worms they won't harm you they will stay on the arrow) you will shoot the arrow as far away as you can. The disease will spread over there instead. If in a cold climate the disease will die off slowly

Okay don't freak out when you read this

So the statue in our house is actually one of these things. They're named Aetherlings, they are constructs created by Katika.

They are powered by a stone in them that can be found in a volcano that Katika named Aether. The weave seems to leak in that general area and infuses obsidian with magic.

It's magical properties are simple, it remembers movements so when placed in a statue or other machine with moving parts it will replicate those movements.

Katika perfected this and created weaponized statues. They respond to enemies by remembering an action they have performed in the past. If something unexpected happens they will simply not do anything.

They are close to indestructible. I have found no way to destroy them so far.
