As the story comes to close the storyteller pours a dipper of water on the remains of the fire and as the cloud of steam rises and obscure the scene, you hear one final thing.
"Did I forget to introduce myself? You can just call me CF."
The steam fades to darkness and you feel the usual moment of disorientation as your reality filters shift from digital to analogue. You glance around at the others in the room, humans stretching and bio-synthetic avatars calibrating micro servers, as a voice comes over your audio receiver.
