Stepan was a rider in the Black Souls in his past. Now, over 2 decades old events suck him into a power struggle between kingdoms. He knows too much about ties binding the Black Souls and the royalties and gets himself a target on his back. Only way to survive is to find his old riding companions and find out the ones responsible as the stakes grow higher than just Stepan's life.
