In 1743, the Othron Cartel started public unrest in Locust Landing . Slowly, but surely, changing public opinion about the current leadership of the city. This started by bribing the local news broadcasters to change the narrative of stories and by starting small fights with guards inside the city. This eventually led to the riots known as the Locust Landing Lawlessness where the Smuggling Ring and The Cartel were able to steal the jewels from the castle and smuggle them out. These jewels have not been found again, but are rumored to have been sold for 650.000 gold to a collector.
