Yesterday, the Million Islands achieved a milestone! After ten and a half months and nearly a hundred articles, I've completed the geography pass of the Great Ring's Southern Region. I use the geography articles as a foundation for the worldbuilding in this setting, and laying out all the geography of a region gives me everything I need to go forward. This is the third (of six) regions I've completed so far, and I'm looking forward to diving into the next one!

Articles of the Day
For a while now, I've been doing daily writing, and sharing an article each day with a few people on Discord, in my chapter (Articles Anonymous), and on the wonderful Storyteller's Circle run by Myth-X. Recently, I was encouraged to start including WorldAnvil notifications for my daily articles, and now that I've finished Summer Camp (with 42 articles!) Hello and welcome! I'm Demongrey, and I am a dad, technologist, and writer. I'm a longtime player and GM of tabletop roleplaying games, and my writing is focused on that hobby. I also write as a mental health practice, as I find it is important to my overall sanity in these stressful times. To that end, I've made a committment to writing at least 325 words a day. The world I'm currently working is called The Million Islands and is intended as a setting for the aforementioned tabletop rpgs, and also as a place where I can embed all the random bits of history and folklore that have been rattling around my head.
