At the beginning of the summer, I was on here EVERY DAY, so excited for Summer Camp. I was prepped and ready to go. During this time, however, I also got a new job (which was great!), but I no longer had as much time to devote to writing. I was writing in my notebook every day, though, ready to transfer to here, but that never happened.
  Quite honestly, by the middle of summer, my job just consumed me. I was actually doing two people’s jobs at once, and I burned myself out. I have mental health issues, and I just let myself get eaten up. I’ve done it before and thought I had it under control, but here I am…again.
  ANYWAY, in saying all of that, I’ll be off for at least a week as I’m partially hospitalized, so I’m hoping to get some more writing done. For a while, I was writing every day and making substantial progress on my manuscript, which felt amazing. I know I’m not a great writer (I'm realistic about my lack of skill!), but I really enjoy it, so I want to make it my hobby again. I'm not exactly sure how that’s going to work when I return to my job, but part of what I need to figure out in treatment is how to not make my work so all-consuming all of the time.
  I end this just to say that I hope all my fellow Anvilites are well and I can't wait to catch back up!

Despite not publishing any articles, I'm DEFINITELY still working on the prompts. For some weird reason, I love writing them in my notebook and then transferring them, but that just means that I'm slower at it. But I'm having a blast, and hoping everyone else is, too!

So a MASSIVE thank you to RandoScorpio for pointing out that since I upgraded to Grandmaster (because I finally got a new job...yay!), all of the commenting/likes/etc. were turned off for my new world, Thenia. This was such a nice gesture and I sincerely appreciate it, since I really count on feedback for my writing!
  As such, I'm going to shamelessly post my two articles from Thenia to (hopefully) get some more feedback! (And thank you to those who have already done so!)
  River of the Defiled is my entry to the Rivers & Waterways Challenge. It runs through the entirety of the state of Kezig, so it's an important part of a Kezen's identity, but even more, nothing acts like it should on this river, including people...
  Corruption is my entry to Catoblepon's Unofficial Conditions Challenge. There are some mentions of body horror, so beware, but this condition happens when a magician plays too fast and loose with certain kinds of magic (at least...that's what's thought).

I’ve been working very diligently on my main project, United Britannia and Hibernia, for several years, but I’ve had Thenia rolling around in my brain for a while. Because UBH has so much of it complete (worldbuilding-wise), Thenia is what I plan to work on during Summer Camp 2022. I have very little plans for Thenia besides some good worldbuilding and utter self-indulgence, but I’d love for some books to come out of it (far into the future) as well.
  As you can tell, there’s still SO MUCH to be done, but that’s what Summer Camp is all about for me! Thenia is rooted heavily in the Dark Academia/Fantasy (High Magic) genres, and while I think the concept of magical schools is perhaps a tired one, the school is only a tiny part of the story; this story is more about the interplay between magic, religion, and various governments. Because I have a strong background in mythology, I’m utilizing mainly Eastern European (and mainly Romanian, at this point) mythology in this story as well.
  If magic schools, mythology, and some (hopefully?!) good secrets are your thing, please check Thenia out and bear with me over the next few months as content is created! I’ve added a rough primer article, so I’d love for you to give it a read if you have some time! (And giving feedback? Even better!)
