Multiattack. The carcharodontosaurus makes two attacks. One with either its bite or its rend, and one with its tail. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d6 + 6) slashing damage and the target must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target begins bleeding uncontrollably, reducing its movement speed by 10 feet and taking 1d6 slashing damage at the start of each of its turns until it or another creature uses its action to stop the bleeding by succeeding on a DC 11 Medicine check or expending one use of a healer's kit. This effect ends if the affected creature regains at least 1 hit point. Rend. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 6) slashing damage and the target must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or have their armor class reduced by 1, up to a maximum of 5. AC lost in this way are restored after a short or long rest. Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (4d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage and the target must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
