A synchronized relationship between a dragon and its rider is the healthiest, allowing the two to slowly become a singular new creature together when fully realized. This is one of the least common to realize as a relationship, as mortals are easily tempted, and it requires immense will power and respect from both rider and dragon to remain individuals while being so closely intertwined.

New Beginning
At 3rd level, you must choose the color of dragon that has hatched and bonded with you. This dragon begins as a hatchling, and can carry you when you are in immediate danger for one minute, but is too small to ride. The damage type associated with each dragon is used by features you gain later. Any of the metallic dragon colors is available for this synergy type.

Close Bond
At 3rd level, upon choosing this type of synergy, you and your dragon make a dedication to aid the other whenever and however possible. Your dragon will stay nearby, strengthening your Draconic Link feature considerably. You permanently gain the following benefits:
- +2 to Perception and Passive Perception
- +2 to Intimidation and Persuasion
- Become resistant to psionic effects and attacks
Harmonious Psychometry
At 6th level, you take on mental and physical characteristics similar to your dragon. Decorative scales that match your dragon's color will begin to dot your face and arms, and your abilities will increase. If you chose a fighting style at 3rd level, you may choose an additional fighting style without replacing your existing choice. If you chose spellcasting at 3rd level, your slot level increases by one permanently.
Close Ally
At 10th level, your strength has improved enough for your dragon to undergo a magical aging process. As a Young dragon, its abilities improve as appropriate for its stat block. Additionally, your eyes take on the color of your dragon's, and you gain 30 feet of blindsight. When you unlock the Dragonride feature at level 15 in the Rider class, your dragon will become an Adult dragon.
The Fires Within
At 14th level, you and your dragon have learned to unite your minds on a constant basis. A telepathic link is no longer necessary for constant communication between the two of you, and your link cannot be broken unless you or your dragon dies or are on separate planes. Additionally, both you and your dragon will always know the location of the other, and can magically take damage for the other creature in battle. Uses of your Draconic Link are still required for skill check advantages and other features as described in the Rider class features.
Full Synchronization
At 18th level, you and your dragon may unite into one creature for up to one minute for every two levels you hold in the Rider class. During this time you gain the following benefits:
- Gain immunity to the damage type associated with your dragon
- Gain a Flight speed equal to twice that of your base speed
- Gain an elemental aura, dealing 2d10 damage of the appropriate type for your dragon to all creatures of your choice within 30 feet
- Gain a tail bonus action, which can be used to give an enemy disadvantage on its next action
- Gain an additional Extra Attack each turn during this effect
- All melee attacks deal additional 1d8 damage of the existing weapon's damage type
- All spells cast deal 1.5x normal damage
Once this effect ends, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.
