Evasion. If the golem is subjected to an effect that allows her to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, she instead takes no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.   Magic Weapons. The golem's weapon attacks are magical.   Strangulation. During her first turn, the golem has advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn't taken a turn. Any hit she scores against a surprised creature is a critical hit.   Sneak Attack. Once per turn, the golem deals an extra 14 (4d6) damage when she hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of the Veiled Maiden (her Veiled trait counts as an ally) that isn't incapacitated and the golem doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.   Veiled. Multiple versions of the golem appear, making it difficult to target the correct one. All attacks against the golem have disadvantage unless they bypass illusion magic in some way (for example, true sight).

Actions

Multitattack. The golem makes two attacks only one of which maybe a scarf attack (which she takes in the order shown).   Veiled Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: 1d20+7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 ( 2d10+4 ) slashing damage, and the target must make a CON saving throw, taking 24 ( 7d6 ) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A failed save also leaves the target stunned until the end of its next turn.   Razor Silk. The golem uses each of the following attacks in order on each of her turns:

  1. Iron Silk. The golem's silk lashes toward one creature up to 30 feet away that she can see. She makes a Veiled Claw attack against the target as the scarf magically extends and becomes as hard as iron on impact. If she hits, the target takes 44 ( 9d8+4 ) slashing damage. If the Iron Silk misses it persists and attacks again next round - this continues until it hits a target, or the golem is killed.
  2. Entangling Silk. The golem's silk reaches out toward one creature up to 90 feet away she cans, and the silk magically extends to reach the target and wrap around it. You make a Veiled Claw attack roll against the target. If you hit the target it becomes restrained while entangled (Escape DC 15). If the Iron Silk misses it persists and attacks again next round - this continues until it hits a target, or the golem is killed.
  3. Decapitating Silk. The golem's silk becomes hard as steel and sharp as the legendary vorpal sword, it rears up and attacks a creature within 10 feet of the golem. The target must make a CON saving throw; failure indicates that the silk wraps around the target's neck which the golem gracefully yanks and decapitates the target. Living creatures that make successful Constitution saving thorws take 44 ( 20d4 ) points of slashing damage before freeing themselves from the silk.

Reactions

Blinding Feint. If an attack misses the golem the target is blinded until the end of their next turn.

These creatures consist of wraps of the highest quality spidersilk with Turin-Shroud screaming faces of young women staining the weave. Their edges are embroidered with chain-linked spiders. Cutting them releases the trapped spirit.
