Gunner. The Lamplighter has a quick hand & keen eye when employing firearms, granting it the following benefits:

  • It ignores the loading property of firearms.
  • Being within 5' of a hostile creature doesn't impose disadvantage on its ranged attack rolls.

Mace. Weapon Melee Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5', one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Man-Catcher. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10', one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning. On a hit against a beast or humanoid creature of Medium or smaller size, the target must succeed on a grapple check or be grappled by the Lamplighter. To maintain the grapple, the Lamplighter must keep at least one hand on the man-catcher.

If the Lamplighter has a target grappled with the man-catcher, it can not make another attack with the man-catcher until the target breaks free or is released.

Palm Pistol. Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 40'/160', reload 1, misfire 1, one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) piercing damage.

Bonus Actions

Whistle. The Lamplighter blows a series of shrill notes, alerting any nearby Lamplighters to potential danger. This summons 2 (1d4) lamplighter constables that will make their way to the whistleblower by the most convenient route. This will usually take 3 (1d6) rounds of combat for the reinforcements to arrive, but this is entirely at the DM's discretion.
