Overview & Creation
While many rangers are skilled hunters, a few are so dedicated to the hunt that even death may not stop them. You are a hunter that relentlessly focuses on a single target at a time, tracking it down and slaying it as efficiently as possible. When your enemies try to put you down, you just keep getting up until your quarry is defeated.
Hunter's Reflex
At 3rd level, when a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to make a single weapon attack against that creature immediately after its attack, provided that you can see the creature.
Relentless Stalker's Mark
At 7th level, you can cast hunter's mark without the use of a spell slot. When you do so, you do not have to concentrate to maintain the spell, and it remains in effect for up to 24 hours. You can not use this ability on an ally or a creature you do not intend to kill at the first opportunity. You can not move Relentless Stalker's Mark to another creature as you can with a normal casting of hunter's mark. This special mark ends early if you end it as a bonus action, if you use this feature again, if you cast hunter's mark normally, or if it is dispelled. You can use this feature again after you finish a short or long rest.
Unyielding Slayer
At 11th level, your unyielding will to finish off your prey helps to keep you alive. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't benefit from this again until you finish a short or long rest. Additionally, when you reach 0 hit points and a foe is marked by your Relentless Stalker's Mark, you roll any death saving throws with advantage. If you are stabilized, you return to consciousness and 1 hit point immediately.
Inexorable Doom
At 15th level, your desire to continue the hunt for your prey helps you overcome grievous wounds. As long as a foe is marked by your Relentless Stalker's Mark, your wounds heal rapidly. At the start of each of your turns, you regain hit points equal to 5 + your Constitution modifier if you have no more than half of your hit points left. You don't gain this benefit if you have 0 hit points.
