Some people are natural born riders. Through training from an early age or natural talent, these rare individuals can ride tame mounts as if they were an extension of their body. They are equally good at caring for their mounts and know the physical limits of their beast of burden. Not all riders are destined for military life though many choose to join light or heavy cavalry units. Others choose to work on farms where their skills at animal husbandry are invaluable to the less skilled farm hands.

Easy Rider: You may re-roll a single failed Animal Handling check each round. Feral Sense: If you spend an hour with a feral animal, you can work out how long/how difficult it would take to tame it if it's possible. The end result is at the GM's discretion.
Cavaliers tend to be extremely outgoing in one way or another. City dwelling cavaliers tend to have exotic fashion sense while rural riders tend to be part of lesser known esoteric sub-cultures ranging from free roaming nomads to the worship of long lost gods. They also have a knack for being slightly fearless and more than happy to lead the charge on adventurous errands. To some this boldness can become irritating and overbearing. Cavaliers rarely travel completely alone. In the wild places of the world, it's safer to travel as a group. Though they have an exceedingly outgoing view on life, they know the importance of teamwork and the limitations of one person.
